I’m Joel, the writer behind The Life After Debt.
I’m just a normal guy in a normal house, driving a normal car. Ok, except for the fact that I’m pretty tall. And I’m married to a really hot wife.
But other than that, I’m a learner.
I love learning.
I love reading other blogs, reading books and listening to audio books. I love understanding things that I previously didn’t know. I love exploring new ideas and concepts and seeing how they can apply to life.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Management, but those are honestly just 2 pieces of paper. What’s most important to me is releveant experience and extra-curricular knowledge. Regular “school” is great in that it helped me learn how to learn and study on my own. But as far as real-world knowledge, it wasn’t that helpful.
One of the best ways for me to learn is to re-teach it. So that’s one of the points of this blog and the reasons I absolutely love writing here.
So join in and follow along if you want, and see what you do after debt!
